Freshly Cut Wood Chips

Wood chips, also known as sliver, are a side product that is made in the process of shredding sawn waste. It’s a high-quality sawn timber product that can be used:

• In the production of wooden pallets, particle boards and briquettes
• As a solid fuel in biomass power plants
• In agriculture
• In gardening, etc.

ERTE Grupa offers small to medium-sized wooden chips. We produce around 240 000 m3 of sliver in our production site annually, and the volume increases from year to year. This is because individuals and companies are paying more attention to sustainability issues, hence choosing to use, for instance, electricity and heat that’s produced in biomass power plants from renewable sources, such as wood chips.
